Information for requesting a quote
In order to prepare your quote quickly and accurately, please provide the following information and, where possible, upload the technical documentation required for production.
Please provide:
- the name of the part or product to be manufactured,
- the desired quantity,
- the name and quality of the base material,
- the material thickness in the case of sheet metal parts,
- any surface treatment requirements, such as powder coating, galvanising or anodising,
- the required accuracy or special tolerances,
- welding requirements in the case of welded structures,
- any assembly or other additional operations,
- the desired delivery deadline,
- as well as any other information that may be important for production or preparing the quote.
Uploading technical drawings and files
For faster and more accurate processing, please use the following file formats where possible:
For 2D technical drawings:
- DXF
- DWG
For 3D models:
- STEP / STP primarily recommended
- IGES / IGS
If you would like to upload multiple files, you can also package them into a ZIP file.
For laser-cut or waterjet-cut parts, please upload a DXF file where possible, and for CNC machining, please also upload a STEP/STP 3D model.
Please indicate the required dimensions, tolerances, material quality and other manufacturing specifications on the PDF technical drawing.
Important:please avoid using photos, screenshots or scanned drawings instead of technical documentation where possible. These can be uploaded as additional information, but for preparing an accurate quote, a dimensioned technical drawing or CAD file is required where possible.
If some data is not available, this does not prevent you from requesting a quote. Fill in the information available to you, and our colleagues will contact you if clarification is needed.
